Hmm..so finally here I am, sitting in front of my laptop to finally write something, create something, instead of just consuming endlessly in the name of learning.

No offense to anyone who consumes a lot of media to learn; it’s just that I need to remember that my consumption cannot always overtake my creation. And that has to be taken care of very well.

So here I am sharing about the day-to-day, or you can say that finally I am sitting and making sense of everything that happened today, just to not feel much chaotic, unorganized, lost, and maybe good for nothing kind of feeling.

Oh, the morning was sweet! The morning started with a video call around 8:45 am. Hubby had called to wake me up! And a big sweet muuuuuaaaaahhhh to my darling for this.

Honestly, when you yourself find it hard, really hard to do something as basic as getting up every day before it’s too late to start your day, and someone makes sure that they are going to do whatever best they can to help you, fully knowing that it’s not an easy job, they are gems. They truly are.

So if there is anyone in your life – your friend, your best friend, your sister, brother, mom, dad, your partner – anyone who is helping you in your inner work and self-improvement journey in any way, send them lots of love right now. These people are angels in our lives.

Though a part of me was thinking of sleeping again for half an hour while I was still in bed holding my phone in my hands, thankfully, I didn’t do that. I got up, made my bed, arranged my workspace, prepared lukewarm water, drank it properly, and then freshened up.

After freshening up, I prepared tea and breakfast for myself, had it peacefully while watching Masoom Minawala’s podcast episode, wherein she had Mira Kapoor as her guest. And I am telling you, I really, really, really enjoyed that podcast.

The conversation is mostly about mira’s journey from someone who was not at all a public figure to becoming someone who is the talk of the town, and then exploring herself through content creation to stepping the foot in the businesses as an investor and then progressing towards entrepreneurship with two brands of her own in the lifestyle and wellness space till now – all while being a full time mom and juggling multiple things at the same time with all the mess and grace one woman can.

I think, for me, this interview with Masoom is the best one till now, where she has talked about her life, her business, her journey of not being sure what exactly she wanted to do, to coming to a place where she knows that her purpose is to create an impact.

So yeah, a really good podcast. Especially as a woman who has done it after marriage and being a full-time mom, who is not someone who has studied MBA but has learnt everything on the job, her journey has so much to give a lot of women today.

Sure, many will say that the privilege she comes from and has every day has made everything so much easier for her. And I get that. It’s one hundred percent true that she comes from a particular section of society that really enjoys the privilege of opportunities and exposure that not everyone can.

But despite these things I will still say that if you are a woman, a middle class woman, an upper middle class woman, and simply a woman with dreams in your eyes to make your mark in this world but you are not sure what you will do, Mira’s story can make you think about the possibilities and opportunities you can create for yourself without losing yourself in the process.

For me, it’s truly been the podcast where two businesswomen, Masoom and Mira, were talking about their real struggles and challenges of balancing the personal and professional life without beating themselves up and prioritising their sanity however they can.

After that podcast, I watched another interview of Meera with MOS, and that was a very chill and relaxed podcast. A podcast where three young women were talking about their childhood, teenage memories, adulthood, adult friendships, and navigating life on their own by simultaneously building their brand and businesses with all they have got. It was nice.

For lunch, I had roti, sabji, salad, and chutney – The wholesome, mummy ke haath ka ghar ka khana. Nothing can beat ghar ka healthy khana.

After lunch, I went onto the terrace and enjoyed a bit of sunbathing.

Then I had my afternoon rest for around one and a half hours.

The evening started with our evening tea, and around 6:30 PM, I put on my shoes for my treadmill walk. A 30-minute moderate to fast-paced treadmill walk was good, though.

Again, for dinner we had rice, daal, sbji – ghar ka hot served meal.

I walked on my balcony for a few minutes after dinner.

And then, here I am writing all this.

Hmm…a day with a cosy, relaxed, and loving winter morning beginning with the video call with your love, breakfast with hot tea, mumma at home 24/7, ghar ka khana, power-packed podcasts, sunbathing, afternoon rest, half an hour cardio, and this scribble space!

Thanks day! Thanks, 29th November. It was beautiful. I felt loved, supported, blessed, guided, inspired, creative, happy, and grateful from the bottom of my heart.

    Thank you so much.

And thank you so much to you, my reader friend, for choosing to read this piece.

    Thank you.
